Peer Ministry is an 8th grade-only leadership opportunity with 3 main goals:

  1. To grow in FAITH
  2. To experience FELLOWSHIP
  3. To have a lot of FUN!
In addition to the goals mentioned above, Peer Ministry works in a variety of ways to help make Our Lady of Grace school both a happier and holier place. Throughout the year Peer Ministry plans and participates in a number of activities and events, including (but not limited to!): Thursday Morning Rosaries, team meetings (involving games, activities, faith sharing, etc.), “Prayer Parties” in the adoration chapel, the 5th grade Kindness Retreat (as retreat leaders), Catholic Schools’ Week “Faith Sale”, and a possible field trip or two.
.
Peer Ministers begin the year with a summer kickoff retreat (about 2 weeks before the start of school) and then meet on Thursdays (and occasional Mondays) throughout the year. Applications are given to students during the spring of their 7th grade year and must be returned (with essay, signature, etc.) prior to the last day of school for consideration. A copy of the Peer Ministry application can be found at the top of this page.
