FR. MIKE SCHMITZ VIDEO ASSIGNMENTS!
I just assigned this activity at the end of the first week of distance learning with my seventh and eighth graders. As with all of Greg’s resources, the activity is well-thought-out, engaging, and creative… The kids did GREAT with this assignment. Actually had a girl say, “This was fun!” How often does an eighth grader say THAT, especially during a distance learning quarantine?? Three thumbs up, Greg! (I borrowed a thumb for the purposes of this review!)

CATHOLIC CENTRAL VIDEO ASSIGNMENTS!
This is an excellent resource. Kai and Libby make difficult topics and issues very relatable and understandable for junior-high students. The activities themselves are fun and interactive. They challenge students to find deeper meaning in the message and apply the lessons to their everyday lives. Additionally, students can evaluate the video and accompanying activities, which not only gives them some ownership in what they learned, but also provides valuable feedback for the teacher in planning subsequent lessons and activities. Many of the videos are appropriate for use in a Family Life class as well as a regular Religion program.
