Fun ways to help your students understand the papal conclave 👍

The papal conclave is just days away! Are you ready to journey with your students through this historic moment in the Church?

Not only is the election of a new pope a really cool and fascinating aspect of our faith, but it also provides a wonderful opportunity to help students understand the significance of the papacy and explore the role of the Church in the world today.

To help you bring this incredible moment of history to life in your classroom, I’d like to share a few fun and easy-to-use resources with you! 🤠

1. “We Have a Pope” Book

Katie Bogner (from the awesome website, Look to Him and Be Radiant) published a children’s book last year that’s proving to be incredibly timely. I have a copy at my house and find the book to be faithful, beautiful, and inspiring.

The book is currently backordered on Amazon, but as of now you can still get copies straight from the publisher (Emmaus Road Publishing). Plus, at Emmaus you can get FREE shipping when you use the promo code BOGNER2025 (woohoo! 🎉).

2. Some Great Video Options

This is truly a special time to be Catholic. Let’s continue to pray for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis and the Holy Spirit’s guidance of the Church in the days and weeks ahead! 🕊️ 🙏

God bless you!

In Christ,
Greg
